The Abilities



Wandless Magic -- A power than enables wizards to use and control magic without a wand. Very powerful spells still require a wand in order to control the magic sufficiently, however wandless magic gives a Wizard an extreme upperhand in duels and other situations. Fifty year and older only may apply.

Noata Sonitus

Flight without a Broomstick -- Flight, as used by Voldemort and Severus Snape in Deathly Hallows. This ability will enable a Wizard to hover and travel in the air without the use of a broomstick.

Level 1 -- Complete ability to fly for unlimited amounts of time. ( Adults Only )
Level 2 -- Can fly for a few hours at a time at about 50 metres in the air. ( Must be fifth year and older. 3x only )
Level 3 -- Can hover above the ground for up to an hour before feeling physically drained. ( 3x only )


Animagus -- The ability to transform into an animal at will. ( Sixth years and above only )

Empath -- The ability to transform into an animal at will. Sixth years and up, only, because this is an ability you learn.

Level 1 -- Very Rare. The highest level of empath. Able to sense emotions of people on every level. Able to completely shut off own emotions to others around them, and to self. Able to shut out most emotions of others, except for very strong ones. Control is key to this type of empath, as the more experienced the empath, the more control he or she has over their ability. A class one who is under the age of ten must be spelled to block their ability, else they will go insane from the constant overload of emotions around them, as they have little control until hitting the puberty state.

Level 2 -- The second highest level of empath. Able to sense most emotions. Able to shut off simple emotions of everyone around them. Able to maintain control in most situations. A class two under the age of 10 must be spelled to block their ability, or it is possible that they may go insane from overload of emotions. ( Fifth year and older )

Level 3 -- Very weak empath. Able to sense some emotions, mostly only strong emotions. Also, very little control over what they sense and do not sense. Overload possible often. Sometimes need to be spelled, depending on the frequency of overload.( 3x only )



Occulmency and Legilimancy -- First, your character learns the ability to block people out of their minds, and then the ability to be the one trying to get into someone's mind.

Level 1 -- Extreme rare, people with natural talent for mind reading and control. This level can break through natural defenses and crack occlumency immediately. Once in the mind they can heighten/destroy certain emotions in a dementor-like way and they can also "guide"
the mind into doing as they wish, Level 1 Legilimens are ultra dangerous. Their Occlumency is indestructible.

Level 2 -- Quite rare. Able to fight against occlumency, not always successful. The Legilimency can read various thoughts however no control in the mind is present. Occlumency is proficient. ( Adults Only )

Level 3 -- Occlumency only - can guard their minds against basic attack. ( Fifth year and above only )



Metamorphmagus -- Very rare. The abilit to change your apperance at will into anything you desire. You are born with this ability, so everyone may apply, but few will be accepted.




Parselmouth -- The ability to understand and talk to snakes. This ability is extremely rare. This ability may connect your character with Salazar Slytherin and Voldemort. Many may apply, but few will be accepted. ( Must explain connection to Salzar Slytherin and/ or Voldemort )



Seer -- The ability to see the future through different ways, such as dreams, visions, prophecies, tarot cards, tea leaves and even be able to see things in a crystal ball. Everyone may apply, but since you're born with the ability, however how good you are will depend on your age, and the strength of your gift -- or curse if you should see it that way.
